Further updates to PEP-Web...

...have gone live, only a short while after the previous update. They have added another year to the archive meaning it now covers 1871 to 2009 (the previous update added 2008, this one adds 2009). They have also added 3 new journals (well, 2 in the English language - the third one is in Greek!) and 27 new books. To access this excellent database of psychoanalytic literature, simply follow the link from the library website: PEP-Web.

Text-a-Librarian...

...is the latest addition to our popular 'Ask-a-Librarian' service (which already includes instant chat). As the name suggests, you simply send a text message to the library and we will text you back the answer. It's particularly good for quick questions such as 'what time is the library open until?' or 'what's my Athens log-in?'. Further information, including the number to send your text message to, is available from the Ask-a-Librarian webpage.

New books in Stratford library...

January was a relatively quiet month for new arrivals from our suppliers, but 21 different titles can be found on this month's list. Among them are 5 e-books, including the new 2nd edition of 'Your psychology project handbook' by Clare Wood and 'Brilliant graduate career handbook' by UEL's own Rachel Mulvey. New print titles in January included the 3rd edition of Theodore Millon's 'Disorders of personality', which we were also able to add as an e-book.
